Lightning Cracked Red Cedar Shallow Dish
This red cedar shallow dish features the sap wood and heart wood of the Iowa red cedar tree it was carved from. The natural cracking that sometimes occurs during the drying process created a ‘lightning’ shape in this unique piece, which was filled in with a luminescent blue epoxy. This dish is approximately 9.5” x 8.5” x 1.5” tall. It would be a great catch-all dish, but it is so pretty it could be a stand alone decor piece on any table.
